Three citrus varieties, pressed within a day of picking, carbonated hard and canned at four degrees. Nothing is added to make it last longer than it should.

Flavour — three citrus, one breath

• Valencia, the top note: bright, immediate, faintly green. Nought to four seconds.
• Blood orange, the heart: deeper and slightly redder in flavour than it has any right to be. Four to nine seconds.
• Bitter peel, the finish: a short, dry bitterness that clears the palate instead of coating it. Nine seconds onward.

Crafted refreshment

• Fruit: cold-pressed, never from concentrate.
• Carbonation: 3.4 volumes, forced cold over 36 hours.
• Sugar: 6.2 g per can, a third of the category.
• Fill: canned at 4°C to hold the aromatics.

Product detail

Per 330 ml: 78 kcal energy, 6.2 g sugars, 0.02 g salt, no caffeine.

Serving: four degrees, a tall glass, one large cube. It needs no garnish and is better without one.
